Kitsap advisory boards on developmental disabilities, children and youth meet next week

KITSAP COUNTY — Two Kitsap County Human Services advisory boards meet next week, and both take public comment.

The Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board meets from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the Port Blakely Conference Room of the Kitsap County Administration Building, 619 Division St., Port Orchard, and on Zoom (meeting ID 841 0742 2234, passcode 092242; call-in 253-215-8782). Written comments sent to hscheibner@kitsap.gov by 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, will be read during the meeting. Comments should include the writer’s name, county of residence, the meeting date and the agenda item or subject.

The Commission on Children and Youth meets from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, online through Microsoft Teams (call-in 253-617-4979, conference ID 285 909 951#). Written comments sent to lhyde@kitsap.gov by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, will be read during the meeting.

Public comment at both meetings is limited to two minutes per person. Agendas are posted on the Kitsap County Human Services website at kitsap.gov/hs.
