KITSAP COUNTY — Drivers in South Kitsap should plan for continued closures and delays around the Lund Avenue corridor project this week, according to Kitsap County Public Works’ road report for Oct. 31 to Nov. 6.
South Kitsap
- SE Lund Avenue: Delays between Harris Road SE and Chase Road SE for the Lund Corridor Improvements Project (kcowa.us/lund).
- Chase Road: Closed at SE Lund Avenue for the same project.
- Harris Road SE: Closed about 300 feet south of SE Lund Avenue through Nov. 27.
- SE Olympiad Drive: Closed between SE Southworth Drive and Inlet Lane SE for the Harper Estuary barrier correction project, expected through December (kcowa.us/harper).
- Sidney Road SW: Delays between SW Berry Lake Road and Glenwood Road SW for a City of Port Orchard sewer project, expected to finish by Nov. 13.
- Bethel Road SE: Delays between the Fred Meyer entrance and SE Ives Mill Road for private development work.
- Maintenance (5- to 10-minute delays): SE Nelson Road from Bandix Road SE to Crescent Valley Road SE, Monday through Wednesday; Uzzell Road SE from Crescent Valley Road SE to SE Nelson Road, Thursday and Friday.
Central Kitsap
- Brownsville Highway NE: Minor delays near the Central Kitsap Wastewater Treatment Plant during a multiyear upgrade (kcowa.us/cktp).
- Stampede Boulevard NW: Delays from NW Wrangler Court to Foxtail Place NW for private development work.
- Clear Creek Road NW: Delays at NW Pete Ross Way for private development work.
- NE Gluds Pond Street: Closed between SR 303 and Brownsville Highway NE for private development work, expected to finish by Nov. 13.
- Maintenance: NW Stavis Bay Road, entire county-maintained length, Monday through Friday.
North Kitsap
- NE Paulson Road: Closed from 432 NE Paulson Road to Kelly Court NE for utility work.
- Maintenance: Silverdale Way NW from SR 308 to Waaga Way, Monday through Friday.
